To further strengthen our impact investment team we are looking for an
Impact Investments Manager
In this full-time position you will be responsible for taking Partners Group’s Impact activities to the next level, i.e. professionalize and execute on sourcing of new transactions, due diligence, reporting, communication (internal and external), and fundraising activities. Starting on an internal basis with the future option to take it to external investors, you will be in charge of building a brand and a track record in Impact investing on a global basis.
- Continue to develop strategy and next steps for the short-, mid- and long-term together with existing delegates
- Define and specify due diligence process, reporting, monitoring etc. for projects
- Deal sourcing and perform respective due diligence and monitoring including onsite visits
- Help create tools and systems (including website, etc.)
- Support internal fundraising and represent PG Impact within Partners Group
- Prepare for an institutionalized set-up to accommodate external funds
- Participate in select Impact conferences to build up Partners Group’s network in the industry
For this challenging position, we are looking for a person who works well in a very entrepreneurial organization, someone who is a self-starter and possesses strong networking and organization skills. The successful candidate should have the following profile:
- At least three years of work experience in the charitable field, ideally Impact investing with some field experience
- Entrepreneurial person with ideas and the will to build up this initiative
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English
- Presentation capabilities and marketing experience
- High level of flexibility with respect to travelling to remote countries
- International background, e.g. experience in working in an international and professional environment
