One leading foreign bank has strong commitment in Mainland China, who provides comprehensive financial solutions to Chinese corporate and personal clients, which includes terms loans, trade finance, cash management, FX, wealth management etc. In order to grow its market share amongst Energy, Oil, mining industry in China, a new role -China Energy Industry Group Head, is created recently in Beijing.
In this role, you will report to Beijing GM and China Head of Corporate Banking. And you are expected to main contact point with Strategic Client Groups' decision makers and identify business opportunities for the Bank, including product cross sell and cross border deals. And you will conduct wallet-sizing and account planning for key client groups. Also, you need to work closely with corporate Banking Regional team and the Group worldwide network on cross border deals. Additionally, you will initiate and drive implementation of customers-specific business strategies RMs and guide them in structuring of facilities, on total customer group management basis. Besides, you need to judiciously manage Relationship Limits and apportion them to RMs based on identified strategies optimization of returns. And you will vet and clear credit proposals submitted by the branches and provide guidance and inputs where necessary. Meanwhile, you are expected to deepen knowledge of the Industry under coverage and build a good appreciation of the risks and opportunities associated with the Industry. And you need to provide advice to the Corporate Banking team on Industry specific issues and establish customer contacts and build relationship with the key players in the Industry.
To be qualified for this job, ideally you need to have at least 10 years' relevant working experience in domestic or foreign banks, with an in-depth insight knowledge on Energy, Oil and mining industry in China. Also, you need to have good relationship with large corporate. Good team management ability and resources in the industry is preferred. Fluent in English and Mandarin is a must.
