Responsibilities
Implementation Engineer (Applications Support Engineer)

Key Responsibilities
* Assist Support Teams in resolving and delivering solutions to client's technical issues.
* Acquire and maintain in-depth knowledge about Moody's Analytics products, and the environments and platforms they run on.
* Be a resource to answer questions about technology and / or Moody's Analytics products
* Research and report on technical issues
* Possible on-site client trips (installation, configuration, and troubleshooting)
* Pre-sales technical assistance (respond to requests for information from sales personnel)
* Participation in other software development activities and special projects
* Participation in other quality assurance activities and special projects
* Participation in other support activities and special projects
* Writing documentation (FAQ, Knowledgebase, Product Documentation, etc.)

Qualifications
Technical Experience/Knowledge

Technical strengths ultimately need to adapt to serve Moody's product base. Candidate should have knowledge in as many of the following areas as possible:

Primary areas:
* MCSE or equivalent knowledge in current Microsoft Operating Systems
* Network technology
* Microsoft .NET platform
* Relevant database platforms (MS Access, MS SQL Server and Oracle)
* Forensic analysis tools (network packet sniffers, event logs, monitors, debuggers, etc.)
* Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS)

Secondary areas:
* Microsoft Visual Studio and other relevant software development tools.
* Rudimentary accounting principles
* Linux/Unix
* J2EE Application Servers
Should have a minimum 5-7 years of technical support experience or software development experience
Should have a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or in a multi-disciplinary computer technology major or must possess relevant work experience
Excellent communication skills
Strong customer focus
Excellent organizational skills
