Reporting to the Head of Strategy Development and working in collaboration with the Business Development team, the Implementation Manager is responsible for the developing quality implementation for the business development strategy across the commercial division.
The strategy is devised to ensure that the projected new to bank customers full banking relationships and income objectives are delivered via the Regional Business Centres.
Main responsibilities
- Understand the key priorities and dependencies of SCCB and use these as a catalyst to support the implementation process of an all encompassing strategy to deliver divisional objectives.
- Ensure that the implementation has a national consistency but allows regional autonomy.
- Implementation management of key work streams, project planning, identifying key tasks, dependencies and critical paths and managing day to day project activities to meet plans.
- Continually assess implementation processes, and recommend new scalable approaches where appropriate to expedite success criteria.
- Support the BD team with the co-ordination of all key work streams, inc. key sector focuses, and client acquisition strategies, across multi -site teams.
- Create and sustain effective relationships with all key stakeholders.
- Provide regular communications, prepare presentations and documented updates, against committed milestones on strategic and tactical Business Development initiatives at a national level and support any follow up actions / recommendations.
- Assist the Business Development team to become 'Role Model' in their process and execution of all business development initiatives from start to end.
- Ensure processes in place, and rigour applied, around corporate governance (to include but not mandatory training for team, holiday lists, recruitment and induction)
Essential requirements
- The Jobholder must be a skilled individual with a number of years' existing commercial business experience and a related business or project management qualification.
- They should possess a basic understanding of the business environment and buying behaviours associated with the marketplace. The job holder must be able to take direction, work in a team, and build good relationships.
- A strong analytical and process orientation is essential.
- Furthermore is the ability to manage various activities simultaneously, manage conflicting priorities and work to tight deadlines, with a strong attention to detail.
Desirable
- A proven track record in the implementation of large multi -disciplinary projects through to successful conclusion.
Location: London
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 plus benefits
