Looking for an experienced enterprise software implementation manager to join our team in Albany.  We are a young, well-funded software firm with an experienced team and a track record of making things happen.  We are bringing to market a next generation suite of tools to help organizations comply with the complex mix of legal and regulatory challenges they now face and need an implementation manager to work with partners and clients to ensure successful deployments of our system.  

 

The work environment is informal, fun and highly collaborative.  As an implementation manager you will be responsible for coordinating complex, multi-faceted systems deployments and will be the primary point of contact for client relationships.  You will interface directly with partners, senior client executives, sponsors and other key constituents on multiple, concurrent projects.  A willingness to jump in and do what it takes to succeed is a must.

 

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will be an exceptional IT project manager with demonstrable skills and experience in the following areas:

·         3+ years managing enterprise level software implementation projects – full responsibility for project success and customer satisfaction

·         Managing concurrent projects and significant visibility to client executive teams

·         Superior client and project management skills

·         Providing the primary escalation path for all implementation-related issues

·         Managing project-level status meetings and reporting

·         Identifying and proactively managing project  risks

·         Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written internal and externally

·         Willingness and ability to travel and work as required to meet client demands and deliverables

·         Working knowledge of the components of the software release process, including issues of development, documentation, packaging and quality assurance

·         Experience with ~n tier enterprise applications, Oracle and Java

·         Experience with enterprise software, data conversions and integration

·         Experience with Document Management tools a plus

 

Education:

·         Bachelor in Computer Science or equivalent work experience required

·         Masters helpful

·         PMI Certification helpful
