Implementation Specialist

Lexicomp’s Implementation Support team is searching for a candidate that will provide support to the customers who have purchased the products and services that require technical support, development, and maintenance. The Implementation Specialist will provide the customer with resolutions to technical issues and other complex needs that arise during the implementation process.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develops documentation, samples, and procedures geared toward external customers (typically I.T.) to help support integrated products and services.
- Improve software support documentation to facilitate future troubleshooting and improve client satisfaction. When developing solutions, strikes an appropriate balance between function and productivity.
- Conduct problem analysis and provide technical expertise and implementation support to customers ensuring successful operation of products and services to customer’s satisfaction.
- Ensures quality by thoroughly testing suggestions and recommendations made to customers. Responds promptly and professionally to customer concerns and suggestions.
- Identifies potential performance issues and enhancements as early as possible, and reports these to the appropriate areas and offer suggestions on how to improve on these issues.
- Maintains appropriate documentation on an ongoing basis, including project documentation and plans, development of test plans, etc.
- Records time using NetSuite Project Management (as applicable), as well as utilizing Issue Management in NetSuite to document bugs and issues.
- Demonstrate proficiency in interfacing with customers and intra/intercompany personnel
- Provides knowledge and ability to effectively communicate technical and complex information with programmers and analysts and guide them through the Implementation process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.
- Prior work experience a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to problem solve
- Technical Skills - Proficient in Java or .Net, SQL, Windows or Linux operating systems use. Additional desired skills:Proficient in programming languages, scripting languages, as well as markup standards including, XML/HTML, XSLT, SQL, XPath, and Regular Expressions.
