IMS SHARED SERVICES CHANGE MANAGEMENT – SENIOR ASSOCIATE recruitment

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
To ensure that the change requests are monitored,  discussed and agreed with business owners. Manage new processes, funds, and requirements into BAU processing. A first class service to be provided in support of the business group within IMS and to the client IMS, or direct to client.

To continually challenge and, where appropriate, improve current working practices as part of projects and changes to the business gaining efficiencies where possible.

To achieve internal project targets and deadlines to better align shared services with group and business goals.

Maintain support, and where possible exceeding customer service standards.

Plan project requirements and document into Change Management records.

Take individual responsibility for dealing with complex problems that arise, liaising where necessary with the Head of Change Management.

To keep abreast of market changes and developments, and internal system developments ensuring that all new processes align to best capability and practices.

KEY TECHNICAL SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
ESSENTIAL
Detailed knowledge of Investment Instruments, i.e. Equities, Bonds and Foreign Exchange.

Detailed knowledge understanding of Derivative instruments both exchange traded and OTC including:-

Futures options
Swaps (including Interest Rate – Inflation Linked, Total Return and CDS).

Proven Investments experience, one of which should have been involved in project work.

Sound knowledge of the Operational processes for IMS Shared Services

Ability to communicate well at all levels i.e. customers, suppliers, senior management and junior staff.

DESIREABLE

Detailed knowledge of trade support systems, and processes, such as Omgeo OG, Omgeo Alert.  Detailed knowledge and understanding of internal systems.

Will initiate change and be responsible for the implementation in procedures and working methods.

Knowledge of current market ISITC code of practice.

Ability to lead and motivate people.

Ability to compile and produce detailed reports, task lists and minutes, identifying key risk areas and highlighting progress of projects.

Computer literate – Excel to intermediate level. PowerPoint to intermediate level.

Goal driven with a desire to succeed.

Formal qualifications (e.g. Securities Institute).
