In-House Corporate Finance/M&A Manager recruitment

The role report to the Director of Corporate Development.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Member of close team that will manage the deal execution process from due diligence all the way through to closing.
- Evaluate investment opportunities and conduct company and industry competitive analysis
- Co-ordinate the due diligence process
- Valuation analysis including cost of capital calculation, discounted cash flow analysis, comparable companies analysis, EPS accretion/dilution analysis and LBO modelling
- Prepare internal and external investment memoranda for presentation to Board of Directors and outside investors
- Manage internal approval process for investment proposals to Executive Committee and Board of Directors
- Prepare, analyse and explain historical and projected financial information
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Minimum 5 years of investment banking, corporate finance, MA or other relevant experience
- ACA or MBA strongly preferred
- Significant experience of company valuation methodologies
- High level of analytic capability and the ability to think strategically
- Research and analysis skills to evaluate potential opportunities including competitor and industry analysis
- Proven track record, demonstrating strategic acumen and strong commercial awareness
- Experience of corporate finance negotiation and documentation
- First class communication skills with confidence to communicate internally and externally
- Strong team player and self-starter with ability to assume significant responsibility quickly
- Strong numerical skills, especially excel modeling skills
