In house Junior Lawyer / Paralegal recruitment
Our client is a major international Fund Management group. They are now looking to appoint a junior lawyer to support the corporate services work and also other legal team members
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assisting with fund registrations work for Greater China region, liaising with internal and external parties, completing forms and consolidating information for regulatory filings in Hong Kong, Singapore, Macau, and other jurisdictions as needed
- Assisting with drafting and review of legal documentation, legal research and analysis, supporting lawyers within the Greater China legal team
- Preparation and review of Chinese documents and translations
- Assisting with company secretarial and licensing matters
- Assisting with other matters or projects of the Greater China legal team as needed
- The position will support and be supervised on a day-to-day basis by the relevant lawyers on projects or matters
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
3 years' relevant experience
KEY COMPETENCIES
- Strong proficiency in English and Chinese, able to draft and review documents in either languages. Mandarin skills would be an added advantage.
- A team player with an open-minded attitude, cheerful disposition and willingness to learn and contribute
This is an exceptional opportunity to gain experience within a world class Fund Management organisation. The position is initially contracted for a six month period and will be reviewed with the possibility of switching to a permanent role subsequently.
