The key function of the In-Store Buyer is to support the sales and profitability performance of the store by managing the buying and stock control processes to ensure efficient stock levels are maintained.  Other tasks include: building and maintaining relationships with internal and supplier representatives, maintaining a thorough knowledge of supplier terms of trade, maintaining a thorough understanding of current product and promotions, ensuring accurate receipting and supplier returns processes are in place, and assisting with stock take and stock take preparation.

The successful candidates will have: proven experience in a store based buying role, excellent customer service experience, competent skills using MS Office, POS and computerised inventory systems.

Flexibility to work across all trading hours is also required.
