Inbound Order Taker (Call Handler)
Our client, a leading Retail company who turn over in excess of £1.5m per month and work alongside a host of popular Newspaper publications, are looking to recruit up to 10 Call Handlers on a permanent basis, due to the relocation of their Customer Service team into Central London.
Based in fantastic modern offices in a great London location, our client handle in excess of 40,000 weekly inbound calls. Mainly dealing with orders/deliveries, there is not enough headcount to satisfy the overwhelming customer requirements, hence the urgent need to recruit quality candidates on a permanent basis. Key responsibilities of the role(s) will include:
- Handling volume inbound calls (100+ a day)
- Dealing with customer queries
- Confirming/booking orders over the phone
- Informing customers over delivery times/stock availability
- Logging all information onto a CRM system
Although extensive contact centre experience is not required in order to join the company in this position, any customer service experience would be advantageous. The main necessities are:
- Articulate telephone manner
- Patience in dealing with customers
- Friendly, sociable personality
