If you enjoy a competitive sales environment without the need to cold call, you could become our newest Inbound Inside Sales Agent. In this role, you will speak to people from all over the country that have selected Ameriprise Auto Home Insurance because of the relationships we have built with our Fortune 500 partners. You'll be surrounded by teammates that have the same competitive spirit and drive to deliver high quality results while assisting our clients with their insurance needs. Our leadership team will provide you with the coaching and development on the job to help you achieve and succeed.

Inside sales agents receive a competitive base pay starting at $30,250 (shift differential included) while also earning a monthly incentive for reaching and exceeding their sales goal through assisting clients with their home insurance needs. Company paid training includes both pre-licensing training to prepare employees to earn their Wisconsin Property Casualty license as well as comprehensive company training on our products and services. All candidates must pass the Wisconsin test during training to be able to sell our insurance.

Qualifications
Applicants must possess strong customer service skills (a high school diploma or equivalent with one or more years of pertinent work history in a contact center or in customer service is preferred). The role demands strict attention to detail (accurate insurance quotes generated by our system based on customer information entered by employee) when working with clients via incoming phone calls. Integrity and honesty are critical in this fast-paced contact center environment.

Our most successful sales agents are focused on the individual client's insurance needs, have a broad knowledge of the services and products we offer, maintain excellent quality and accuracy in their work product and utilize strong sales closing skills.

The position requires the ability to work evenings. The schedules also include a weekend rotation that encompasses either every Saturday or every other Saturday.
