Incident Manager Job in Woonsocket, Rhode Island US

Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs. Assist in business process redesign and documentation as needed for new technology. Analyze business partner's operations to determine opportunities to automate processes and functions if applicable. Translate high level business requirements into functional specifications for the IT organization and manage changes to such specifications. Identify business, operational and technical tasks, scope, time constraints and task interdependencies. Lead walkthroughs of business requirements.

Responsible for end-to-end ownership of projects and project planning activities in area of expertise and/or concurrent multiple for assigned team. Participate in program design and code walkthroughs. Review test plans and results. Assist with the resolution of test incidents. May provide guidance with the development of test plans as well as assist the business with development of user acceptance criteria. Report out project status and impact analysis on an ongoing basis. Demonstrates an informed knowledge of business area to resolve problems on an ongoing business. Negotiate agreements and commitments by facilitating communication between business unit and IT from initial requirements to final implementation.

Minimum of 3+ years IT experience with focus on process methodologies and analytics. Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools. Ability to produce concise, clear, and complete business requirements. Ability to prepare and deliver organized and understandable presentations to medium or large groups. General expertise in the functional aspects of the processing system.
