Incident / Problem Management Analyst recruitment
The Role
The Problem Management Team is responsible for managing, resolving, and preventing business impacting outages. Your responsibilities and the goals of the group include: reducing duration of outages by ensuring appropriate teams are engaged and preventing outages from reoccurring by driving to root cause and ensuring preventative actions are identified and implemented. Core functions include: quickly determining the severity of an outage in regards to business impact and technical complexity. Then assessing and ensuring all appropriate groups are working on resolving the outage in a timely manner, facilitating the resolution of outages and crises, across multiple teams. And also notifying, escalating and communicating to senior management the existence and status of outages, as necessary.
Requirements
- Proven experience within application or infrastructure services
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong technical skills, including basic knowledge of UNIX
- ITIL Service Support knowledge
- Strong knowledge of financial products
- Self starter with the ability to prioritize work load, keep cool and perform in a high pressure environment
- Assertive but diplomatic, relentless, with a strong desire to see things through to completion
- Good organizational and team collaboration skills
