As an Income Analyst the role will focus on Management of a Retail income product including production, analsyis and review of month end results and key financial information that is reported / presented at Executive committee and Board meetings and delivered to central reporting in Spain.
The role is ideally suited for an experienced Business / Finance Analyst with strong analytical skills and the energy and enthusiasm to want to deliver high quality results.

As an Income Analyst your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

* Financial or Business Analyses background
* Qualified (or Passed Finalist) in a recognised Accountancy Body ACCA, ACA Or CIMA or equivalent experience
* Strong technical skills; Business Objects XI and Excel , Powerpoint , Essbase
* Numerate, with excellent analytical skills
* Experience of data extraction, data manipulation and data presentation
* Financial Services experience preferred but not a pre-requisite

As an Income Analyst your main responsibilities will involve:

* Management of month end results for a key Retail product including analysis and providing insightful commentary to senior managers as to the performance against agreed benchmarks

* Detailed month end analysis and commentary on monthly performance and trends plus analysis into the impact that results have on current and long range forecasts

* Review and reconciliation of key financial information to source systems (including Audit liaison with auditors regarding balance sheet and controls)

* Responsible for the information used and presented in the EXCO and Board meetings and issued to Group

* Responsible for actioning questions and further analysis arising from month-end reporting in a timely manner

* Manage the Planning and forecasting process in producing timely updates to the central PL and relevant commentary / analysis of movements (between versions)

* Review of balance sheet reconciliations and analysis of risks and opportunities

* Working to constantly improve efficiency and quality of information provided in order to improve stakeholders understanding

* Ad hoc reporting requirements
