SEI is developing a transformational service and technology capability, incorporating functionality for client administration, financial and non-financial advice, investment modelling and decision support through to full client accounting, portfolio administration and reporting. The suite of services will be the first of its kind, built on a deep understanding of the new wealthy client and how advisers must adapt to serve them and provides truly end-to-end functionality, all residing on a single global platform. This allows for a holistic view of client relationships and their activities with control metrics.
Job Description:
As a member of the Global Wealth Services Operations Team, the Income Analyst will be responsible for processing of dividend and interest transaction activities. The jobholder will handle multi-currency transactions related to both internal SEI and external third party funds, and associated foreign exchange processing. This position will require an individual who is detail oriented, efficient, and able to handle the pressure of working to tight deadlines in a high volume environment.
Responsibilities:
- Process daily trade activity relating to dividend and interest payments
- Ensure diary system is fit for purpose and is maintained in an orderly manner
- Proactively manage exceptions with custodians and counterparties to ensure timely resolution
- Monitor and resolve stock holding discrepancies with custodians and fund providers within defined time frames
- Review event detail dealing with custodians and second source validation where applicable.
- Resolve differences from cash reconciliations between internal ledgers and cash agent balances within defined timeframes.
- Escalate any issues to Senior Analyst immediately
- QA daily workload to identify errors, provide feedback, identify trends and contributing factors and recommend solutions
- Provide recommendations for improvement around process, control and efficiencies
- Liaise with Operating and business units as required to provide awareness of processing problems as they arise
- Proactively manage the client experience
Other:
- Keep Current – (market conditions, regulation, SEI products and services, etc) and maintain ongoing and effective communication and alignment of these with client business practices.
- Maintenance and updating of internal systems, data reference points and procedures in agreed format to ensure consistency and communication of relevant information within the team and ensure integrity of data.
• Any other ad-hoc projects as required.

Technical Capabilities/Skills Experience Required for the Role:
- Experience in dividend and interest processing essential.
- Experience in balancing cash and stock accounts and with agents and custodians.
- Knowledge of SWIFT format messaging preferred
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook and Access.
- Ideally degree educated with experience within financial services. Private banking, mutual funds and investment advisory is preferred as is industry knowledge of private banking, asset management and investment processing.
