Co-ordinate and chair Child Protection Conferences in accordance with Working Together 2010.
Monitor the appropriateness of the Child's Plan and its implementation.
Carry out quality assurance function through bringing oversight and objectivity to the monitoring of my clients practice and decision-making in relation to the casework and planning for individual children.
Provide data, information and analysis reports.
Act as an independent source of advice and guidance on child care practice, care proceedings and other relevant issues.

The successful candidate must have a current recognised professional qualification in social work; have substantial knowledge and experience of working with vulnerable children, young people and families, including extensive knowledge of the legislation framework relevant to children and young people.
You must have the ability to work unsupervised and with minimal direction and be able to effectively manage workloads. Due to the nature of this role, you must have excellent communication skills, be able to produce well researched and well written reports as well as manage yourself and others in highly stressful and pressurised situations.
You must hold a full drivers licence and use of a car is essential.
