Dow Jones Indexes has an exciting opportunity for an energetic and motivated individual to join its Client Support Team within the Operations Group as a Client Service Associate. The Operations Group is a globally-focused team that is responsible for the maintenance, calculation, distribution and support of the Dow Jones Industrial Average as well as thousands of other well-established indexes. In addition to the large number of equity benchmarks produced, indexes are calculated for other asset classes including (but not limited to) commodities, fixed income, hedge funds, target date and blended/strategy.
The ideal candidate for the Client Service Associate position will be responsible for:
- Assisting with client inquires dealing with general, data related questions, and technical questions in a timely manner.
- Ensure that client expectations are met and provide higher level operational support as required.
- Liaise with various teams within Dow Jones Indexes to coordinate tasks and escalate issues, where necessary.
- Establish/maintain relationships with clients and ensure all leads are forwarded to the appropriate salesperson.
- Provide support for ad-hoc requests to marketing, PR, business, technology and operations teams.
Position Requirements:
· One or more years of work experience.
· Degree in Finance, Economics or a related major.
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
· Must have good attention to detail and a sharp eye for discrepancies.
· Knowledge of securities industry a plus including alternative asset classes.
· Strong time management skills with the ability to multi-task.
· Must be highly motivated and proactive individual who is able to deliver consistent quality results.
