Job Title: Index Trade Assistant

Department: TMG Flow Credit Trading Middle Office

Location: London

Key Responsibilities:

Constant liaison with Sales/ Traders/BAC (Financial Controlling).
Trade Capture (booking trades into internal DB systems Tsar/QTE)
Monitoring eTrading platforms
Daily risk / PL tie out
Trade verification of Credit Default Swap trades
Dealing with documentation and settlement enquiries/discrepancies internally
Raising any IT problems with the relevant parties at DB
Dealing with CTB on Market Initiatives and deliveries.
BRM with nearshore and farshore TMG teams.
TMG face off to Front Office through trading floor location.

You will have:

A degree
At least 2 year's experience in a Derivative Middle Office Environment, ideally within Credit Derivatives. Candidate with Interest Rate Derivatives exposure are also desirable, and applicants from an Equity Derivative background will also be considered.
TSAR/QTE and Summit experience would be hugely beneficial. Word, Excel, Access, Bloomberg essential.

The candidate must be able to prioritise a heavy workload, and manage expectations both internally and externally.
An assertive character is essential as the incumbent will be working in a demanding and target driven environment.
The person must be a good team player, flexible, keen to learn, and prepared to work long hours.
Risk awareness and Initiative are also crucial.
