Index/Option Trader recruitment
Leading city based spread betting firm seeks an Index/Option Trader with a proven track record to join its team. The purpose of the role is to trade options or index, commodity and FX spread bets and CFDs.
Main responsibilities for the position include:
• Ensure Index prices are correct
• Manage oversize and agency trade for clients
• Monitor the risk arising from client’s positions and hedge when necessary
• This is not a proprietary trading role
The successful applicant will have previous experience trading CFDs, Spread Bets, Margined FX or OTC derivatives within a spread betting firm. They will also have either Index, commodity and FX trading or option trading. A knowledge and understanding of the financial markets, a numerate based degree and experience in Excel spread sheets is also highly desirable.
