Indirect Procurement Manager Job in North West, North West Uk

Headline:

Indirect Procurement Manager within leading FMCG organisation. Operating within a dynamic, fast-paced best practice Sourcing function, reporting into the Head of Purchasing.

Role:

You will be responsible for the complete end-to-end strategic sourcing lifecycle across a diverse array of Indirect Goods Services categories, encompassing: Consultancy Professional Services, Legal, HR, Recruitment, Marketing, Print, Travel, FM.

Designing, implementing embedding procurement strategy and category management structures
Managing end-to-end strategic sourcing lifecycle, including supplier selection, negotiation, contract drafting and post-contract award SRM
Driving change and continuous improvement
Operating as part of the Group Procurement leadership function, driving over-all strategic direction
Managing and driving Cost Reduction activities, utilising negotiation and procurement best practice tools and methods
Supplier Performance and Relationship Management including identification of systems or process innovations
Monitoring, managing and mitigating commercial and technical risk within the supply base

You will possess a diverse Indirect Goods Services category knowledge-base, e.g. Consultancy Professional Services, Legal, HR, Recruitment, Marketing, Print, Travel, FM.

Requirements:

Extensive demonstrable diverse Indirect Goods Services category knowledge-base
Excellent best practice strategic sourcing experience
Sound commercial acumen skill-set: analytical, excellent negotiation skills
Excellent influencing and people / relationship management skill set, including: cross-functional teams, senior internal stakeholders and external suppliers
