Electrician Class C-Great opportunity for an Industrial Electrician to join a large, growing heavy manufacturing operation. In this position you will: Be responsible for electrical maintenance and repair; test equipment; ensure a safe, clean environment; identify parts needed for repairs; Assist class A,B, and Lead persons in the performance of their work and follows all instructions and directions given to them by these electricians as per established SOP's. Use electrical hand tools or voltage or amperage measuring and recording devices; run conduit; Operates various shop equipment such as welding machines, grinders, drill press, horizontal mill lathe, etc. MACHINERY, TOOLS, EQUIPMENT, ELECTRONIC DEVICES AND SOFTWARE REQUIRED IN THIS JOB Forklift truck, bicycles, benders/electric benders, drill motors, portable band saws, hydraulic pumps, positioned and portable pipe threaders, soldering guns, hammer drills, amp meters, volt meters, ohm meters, multi meters, voltage testers, sanders, grinders, steam cleaner, band saw, jig saw, circular saw, reciprocating saw, welders, conduit dies, cable cutters, and a wide variety of hand tools. This position requires five or more years of related industrial electrical experience, along with the ability to lift 50-100 lbs. Must be able to operate a wide variety of equipment listed above.
