syncreon has a current opening for an Industrial Engineer at our facility in York, Pennsylvania requiring strong automotive manufacturing skills. Candidates must be able and willing to relocate to Central Pennsylvania. The just in time facility provides all sub-assemblies and synchronizing for vehicle assembly. Candidates Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering support for new facility launched, operational support for model changes, process changes and improvement initiatives.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Process design and work study for new product/plant launch
- Layout, design and implementation for new product/plant launch
- Productivity studies and manpower recruitment recommendations. capital budget proposals and spending for the launch applications
- Procures and installs equipment to assist proposed projects
- Works closely with others in a team-based environment
- Handles multiple tasks under tight deadlines
Knowledge required:
- 4 year Bachelor's degree in Industrial(preferred) or Mechanical or Manufacturing.
- 2 + years experience in job manufacturing or in a Logistics or Material Handling environment
- Experience must include project support and/or project management
- AutoCad (or similar design software) required
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Access and Word
