Summary:
Our client, an up and coming International Medical Supply Company, is looking for an Industrial Engineer to join their growing team in Franksville, WI
Responsibilities:
- Provide industrial engineering support to Manufacturing Operations and Engineering departments
- Establish accurate labor standards using time studies or other techniques
- Prepare and maintain all routings and bills of materials
- Perform scheduled audits and provide training to personnel in use of ERP system
- Support transition of current ERP system to SAP
- Analyze work force utilization, space requirements, and process flow
- Support Lean initiatives and continuous improvement activities by investigating, determining, recommending, and implementing work flow, process, equipment, and/or product changes
- Utilize appropriate work measurement techniques and measure productivity
- Identify out of control variances, investigate causes, suggest solutions, and follow up
- Estimate production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide information for management decisions
- Create operating and maintenance instructions (SOP's)
- Indirect supervision of support specialist and technicians
- Update department technical procedures, work processes, and validation reports
- Review design change notices (DCNs)
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering required
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering required
- SAP experience preferred, especially with regard to setting up and maintaining bills of materials, routings, and performing product change control
- Background in process improvements
- Understanding of cleanroom environment and medical device manufacturing a plus
- Familiar with 2-D Auto CAD for creating/modifying facility layout drawings
- Strong leadership and analytical skills
- Great communication and computer skills
