- Experience with Standard Costing Systems, New Product Routings, Capital Planning, Continuous Improvement Projects and Ideas, Developing Engineering Quality Systems and the procurement of capital items.
What you need for this position:
- This position is responsible for improving manufacturing methods, implementing cost reduction projects, and justification of capital equipment.
- Responsible for leading continuous improvement teams within the facility and provide engineering support for the shop floor.
- Draft and design layout of equipment, materials, and workspace to illustrate maximum efficiency, using drafting tools and computer.
- Review production schedules, engineering specifications, orders, and related information to obtain knowledge of manufacturing methods, procedures, and activities.
- Should possess strong problem solving skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, and should demonstrate solid team leadership ability
