My client is currently recruiting an Industrial Engineer to provide detailed flow line and cell manufacturing layouts.
The main duties of this role are as follows:
-Provide detailed factory and line layouts using Autocad
-Design and install new or upgraded Cell layouts
-Provide innovative solutions to material and product handling methods and equipment
-Provide optimisation of current assembly lines using work flow analysis, time and motion study, Ergonomics and Human Factors
-Provide analysis of current processes using simulation tools,value stream mapping data analysis
-Assist Business Development in NPI regarding new technologies,equipment and strategies
Candidate must have extensive experience as an Industrial/ Manufacturing Engineer within a low to mid volume high mix environment, high reliability Electronics Manufacturing Industry e.g., Military, Aerospace or Automotive Electronics.
