LA Testing/EMSL is seeking a full time Industrial Hygiene Analyst/ Project Manager for it's Garden Grove, Ca Laboratory location.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
This person will be responsible for the analysis of samples provided by clients using NIOSH and OSHA methods using GC, GCMS, and HPLC.
They will be the client contact regarding projects, sampling, and IH questions.
This position will require someone with flexibility and willingness to train on other instrumentation if needed.
Other duties may be assigned as needed to support the laboratory.
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Science: Chemistry
3+ years of previous commercial lab experience performing GC, GCMS, and HPLC NIOSH/OSHA methods in an AIHA accredited laboratory.
Must be able to work independently and with a team
Must be able to work in a fast-paced setting, multi-task, and prioritize assignments.
Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Excellent Phone Skills and must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Hours: Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. some extra hours and/or weekend work may be required to meet business demands.
