Standard Job Description:


Develops, and administers security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations. Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies. Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials. Conducts security education classes. Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken. 

 


Specific Job Description:


1. Develops, and administers security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations. Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies. Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors’ access to restricted records and materials. Conducts security education classes. Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken.

2. Position will be a Program Security Representative (PSR) supporting the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) and other members of the Intelligence Community (IC) in support of multiple contracts. Most program work performed on these contracts is in the Northern Virginia region but the PSR work will be based out of Chantilly, VA. Local travel will be required.

3. Perform the duties of a PSR for a highly sensitive National Security SCI program with one or more customers. In this position, the candidate will be responsible for assisting or creating solutions for the protection of all aspects of a classified program to include personnel, physical, formatting, and acquisition. Ensure compliance and security education utilizing the requirements set forth in the NISPOM, NISPOM Overprint, DCID's, NID's and other guidance as required. Duties also include supporting classified meetings, providing program management support and classification management support. Develops, and administers security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations. Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies. Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials. Conducts security education classes. Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken. 

4. Provide backup briefing support to Security Education for the SCI indoctrinations and the New Employee Orientation.

5. Provide backup support to physical security for badges and access control issues.

 


Required Skills:


1. Minimum of five years’ experience within security, preferably within program security.

2. Previous briefing experience.

3. Working knowledge of NISPOM, DCIDs, and ICDs.

4. Basic Microsoft Office package skills. 

 


Desired Skills:


1. Multiple customer support experience in previous jobs.

2. Ability to work within a team environment.
