Industrials Sector Specialist recruitment

The US Equities Cash Trading team is currently seeking a Senior VP or Director level candidate to serve as the Industrials Sector Specialist. The position reports to cash trading and works closely with research, trading, sales and banking. Specialist coverage will include the global industrials and basic materials sectors. The candidate that fills this position will become the thought leader in the industrials sector and market ideas to traders, analysts and portfolio managers at our buy-side counterparts.

Duties include:
· Generating original content including investment ideas and market color.
· Communicating ideas and market color on daily morning call to sales force.
· Marketing of the Specialist's and firm's products and ideas to long only and hedge fund investors around the globe.
· Protecting the firm's capital through fundamental and technical analysis applied to market making.
· Providing market insights to investment bankers and occasionally work on deal pitches.

Knowledge/Experience:

Skills:
· A minimum of 5 - 7 years of financial industry experience in research, capital markets or investment banking
· Specific experience covering the industrials sector is required

Qualifications:
· Bachelors degree required
