Reporting to executive management of Operations and Engineering, the mission of the VP of Network Services is to support the fulfillment of the Company’s vision for the success of Network Service operations through motivation and direction. Responsible for directing the development, implementation, and operation of Network Services, including long-range planning, project prioritizing, and coordination of all activities relative to divisional development for data and voice telecommunications. The VP of Network Services will work with all levels of management to coordinate strategic Network Services projects and service offerings.

 

 

·         Provide executive-level leadership and visionary foresight in directing the Company’s network operations and activities toward accomplishment of corporate objectives and clients’ needs.
·         Oversee the implementation, development, and support for all data and voice telecommunications, as well as strategic long-range divisional plans for automation, improved efficiencies, and reduced operating costs.
·         Formulate, implement, and monitor all network activities, strategic initiatives, standards, and procedures.
·         Interact regularly with executive management, clients, vendors, and staff to constantly improve products and services through leadership as well as perform Quality Control checks on all network services and operations.
·         Negotiate contracts, service level agreements, and pricing with vendors, service providers, and clients.
·         Maintain and develop strategic business relationships with existing and new clients and keep abreast of competitor’s network activities.
·         Ensure service/operating procedures, practices, and records are in full compliance with applicable regulations, laws, and industry standard practices.
·         Recommend and initiate divisional special projects, network upgrades, operational improvements, and service goals.
·         Analyze growth and provide accurate, complete, and timely submission of required progress reports, forecasts, quotations, budgets, and rates.
·         Establish divisional service/operations standards for data and voice telecommunications documentation, security, and operating procedures, to ensure effective and consistent network operations and to safeguard network resources.
·         Manage and direct the performance, recruitment, retention, and development of the division’s management staff.
 
·         Oversee data and voice telecommunication acquisitions and ensure facilities/equipment meet Company standards.
·         Provide divisional informational updates as well as counseling and training to management personnel throughout the Company.

·         Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all levels of staff within and outside the Company.
·         Effectively manage multiple projects and personnel simultaneously.
·         Demonstrate broad-based technical and business acumen and experience to operate effectively in a fast paced customer driven environment.
·         Operate a computer with strong proficiency in various software and hardware products.

 
EXPERIENCE:
 
·         Bachelor’s degree/technical certification in Computer Science or related field, 15+ years of progressive Information Systems,  8+ years of network experience, and 5+ years in management.
