In the Infantry you’ll be part of our front line team. You’ll carry out vital work all over the world from peacekeeping and disaster relief to front line combat. You’ll be part of a team of exceptional soldiers – who’ll rapidly become your mates – so you’ll never feel you’re on your own.
No formal qualifications are required but you’ll need to be aged between 16 and 32 and physically fit. You should be interested in outdoor activities, enjoy an adrenaline rush and be motivated to push your limits. Useful experience could include anything from security, combat, and paramedic to driving and telecoms. And it goes without saying that you’ll need to reflect the kind of values we’re famous for: courage, discipline, respect and loyalty.
Whatever your skills, our training and development programs will make the most of them. There’s the chance to gain useful qualifications in everything from security, engineering, communications and warehousing to relief operations, team leadership and management. All infantry soldiers are also given the opportunity to gain their driving license for vehicles including HGV’s. You’ll start with a first class basic training to increase your fitness and confidence and prepare you to join an Army whose professionalism is recognised throughout the world.
