The Enterprise and Mission Solutions Business Unit currently has an opening for an Information Security Engineer. The successful candidate will provide IA Certification and Accreditation (CA) and must be experienced with information assurance, security engineering, security architectures, security management, security planning, security baseline development, and similar activities for preparing and maintaining accreditation documentation and artifacts in accordance with DIACAP/NIACAP policy for USA or DoD programs to maintain and certify DIACAP packages. Candidate should be capable of performing security analysis; network and systems security assessments, security product evaluations; securing information systems; developing security, certification and accreditation documentation; certification testing; and other similar activities. Candidate should be experienced with reviewing security architecture and design diagrams detailing ports, protocols, etc. Experienced with implementing IA Best Practices and formulating remediation guidance for technologies such as Windows Server Operating Systems, Unix/Linux Operating Systems, Web Technologies and network architectures. Perform and/or evaluate vulnerability scans on production and integration systems utilizing approved network scanning tools and appropriate Government provided software and scanning tools such as Retina, Gold Disk, Unix and DISA SRR scripts. Experience performing Security Test and Evaluation (STE), developing remediation efforts, DIP, SIP, and POAM. Prepare activity and status reports. Possess strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to work both independently and in a team environment. Candidate will at times work directly with customer representatives and be required to develop and report present task status. Qualifications: TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Assurance or related area and five (5) years of Information Security experience -CISSP certification or Associate, DoD SECRET clearance is required prior to beginning work.
