Description
The job holder is responsible for maintaining the effectiveness of enterprise-wide information security strategy including related programs, processes and initiatives. S/he consults on the development, implementation and enforcement of corporate-wide Information Security policies, procedures and standards. The candidate consults with the business and operational infrastructure personnel regarding new and existing technologies and appropriate security architectures, practices and procedures. S/he has responsibility to interface with various internal and external clients, and audit agencies, to establish communication, cooperation and compliance of information security standards and requirements. S/he also provides Senior Management reporting as to the effectiveness of security controls and conditions. Lastly, s/he has assigns work to subordinates, including mentoring and training and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum 9 years of information security or related technology experience required. Job holder must have a working knowledge of security systems and applications, network topology, network/infrastructure security, or security assessments of networks. S/he must understand principal information risks and business functionality and process and have a strong technical understanding of both application development technology infrastructure. Job holder must be a sound decision maker who thinks logically and makes appropriate recommendations to management. S/he must also have strong oral and written communication skills and be comfortable making presentations to senior management. Job holder must be an experienced decision maker with the demonstrated ability to easily influence people at all levels within the organization. B.S. or B.A. or equivalent work experience required; security certification a plus (CISSP - Certified Information Security Systems Professional or CISA - Certified Information Systems Auditor).
