JOB DESCRIPTION:
In this role you will be responsible for defining the information architecture for a new set of client-facing capabilities on the CitiDirect for Securities (CDS) platform. You will own all business level meta-data and frameworks used for the management of information, including - logical data models, data dictionaries, mappings and business rules. All activities and methodologies will be compliant with industry and Citi standards for data management as specified by the Citi Chief Data Office.
This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and experienced individual to play a leading role in defining and developing a new set of transformational Data Management products and services for Citi SFS.
JOB SKILLS:
This role will require a combination of business, enterprise and data architecture experience plus a good technical grounding in data management technologies and services.
You will act as the bridge between functional partners globally and our primary IT vendor to meet market and client requirements provide product direction with relentless focus on the overall client experience:
- Must have good technical grounding in Computer Science or a related field, with deep exposure to the disciplines of enterprise architecture, data warehousing and data modeling and architecture;
- Must have some exposure to best practice methods and frameworks for information and enterprise architecture (e.g. TOGAF, Zachman Framework), plus experience using vendor models and frameworks such as the IBM Banking Data Warehouse model or the Teradata Financial Services Logical Data Model;
- Must have a business background in financial services, ideally with some exposure to middle and back-office securities processing - custody, clearing, fund accounting, fund administration, securities lending;
- Ideally, will have 3+ years previous experience of business and enterprise architecture with a track-record of success in this domain in the software and/or financial services industries;
- Ideally, will have 3+ years previous experience managing a software/technology delivery organization, a track record of success and a good knowledge of best practice development methodologies and processes;
- Strong influencing skills; must have strong written and verbal communications and the ability to successfully run workshops with business partners.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: College degree in Computer Science or related field, plus ideally a post-graduate qualification relevant to data architecture and/or financial services.

Candidates who do not meet the certification requirement and other required qualifications must demonstrate willingness to complete required assessments successfully within a specified time period.
