*Information Architect / Technology Architect (WSS Tech – CFP) – VP – 603/604 – London or Bournemouth recruitment

This is an exciting opportunity, as you will have a key role in driving the technical design of the future architecture that is central to WSS. It will also give you exposure to many of the Product groups within WSS (Custody, Clearance, Securities Lending, Global Funds Services) as well as the ability to work with our partners in the Investment Bank.
As a Information Architect / Technology Architect you will be responsible for assisting in the architecture definition of the CFP Platform.
Working with the Technology Architects, the Application Development teams and the Work stream Leads, you will oversee the translation of architecture specifications into design and implementation by the Application Delivery teams. You will report to the CFP Technical Architect and be responsible for ensuring the project goals and the architecture principles are realized during implementation.
You will be responsible for establishing an appropriate governance function during the implementation phase to ensure the quality of implementation and for ensuring a reliable and repeatable process is in place for the packaging, release and installation of the software into the CFP environment.

Responsibilities:Define the canonical models (terms, events and verbs) that are used to create a common vocabulary across business, application and technical architectures.Work with other CFP architecture roles to ensure that the information architecture supports all business requirements.Write detailed Information Architecture policies for each CFP architecture principle.Work closely with the Business analysts high level data analysis and data/information modelingExperience in the definition of UML models relational modelsExperience in the definition of XML message schemasProven track record of designing and developing models for high performance and highly scalable integration architectures.Financial experience of Securities Settlement is requiredFinancial experience of Custody/Clearance and Asset Management is preferredExperience of ISO20022 standard
