Information Assurance Analyst, Mid
Description Key Role: Provide Information Assurance (IA), computer network, and technical analysis support to Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Office of the Command Information Officer (CIO). Review and analyze Certification and Accreditation (CA), Platform IT designation, and ATO request packages for completeness and compliance with applicable DoD guidance, including DIACAP, 8500 series guidance, DON CIO Platform IT, NAVSEA Instruction, and Continuity of Operations Plans (COOP) for compliance with NIST Special Publication 800-34 guidelines. Review Plans of Action and Milestones (POAM) to ensure accountability for findings from system CA Plans and eEye Retina and DISA Gold Disk computer and network security scan tool results. Interface with POCs from submitting commands, the Navy Certifying Authority (Navy CA), and office of the Operational Designated Accrediting Authority (ODAA) on package status and compliance. Lead and facilitate collaboration meetings between Echelon II, Navy CA, and ODAA reps for package adjudication and processing.
