Specific Job Description Responsible for maintaining the integrity and security of enterprise-wide cyber systems and networks. Supports cyber security initiatives through both predictive and reactive analysis, articulating emerging trends to leadership and staff. This position will require successful candidate to interface with groups such as human resources, information services, electronics systems, security engineering, physical security, program management on a regular basis. Typical tasks might be coordinating, tracking, reporting of security patch/upgrade implementation, assistance in development of security policies, processes and procedures; development of information security documents such as System Security Plans and POAMs, Risk Assessments and Certification and Accreditation packages. As a member of the security team, the candidate will participate in the review of technical, management and operational security controls in accordance with the National Institute of Standards and Technology to ensure the completeness and effectiveness of the IT system?s security solutions. Standard Job Description Provides security engineering designs and implementation in all aspects of Information Assurance and Information Security (InfoSec) Engineering. Assesses and mitigates system security threats/risks throughout the program life cycle; validates system security requirements definition and analysis; establishes system security designs; implements security designs in hardware, software, data, and procedures; verifies security requirements; performs system certification and accreditation planning and testing and liaison activities, and supports secure systems operations and maintenance.
