Position Description

Boeing Defence UK is seeking to employ a Information Assurance Practitioner to work as part of the Speciality Engineering Integration team in support of the LogNEC DP. This is a recently awarded programme which provides an exciting, long term opportunity for the successful candidate. Key responsibilities will include: Implement and maintain Information Assurance and Security Mgt Plan. Train all staff in security requirements. Internal security reviews and audits. Facilitate ISO27001 accreditation. Provide advice on the technical, safety and ergonomic requirements of JSP480. Submit monthly/quarterly updates via the ECR process to address new equipment installations/major configuration changes. Provide secretarial support to the LogNEC Security Working Group (SWG). Produce and maintain Risk Management Accreditation Document Sets (RMADS). Produce and maintain a Forensic Readiness Plan (FRP). Produce and maintain Technical Risk Assessment (TRA), in accordance with HMG IAS Part 1, containing risk treatment plans, in accordance with HMG IAS Part 2. Implement and maintain an Information Security Management System (ISMS). Provide advice to make sure physical site controls, including cabinets, meet appropriate CEAG catalogue requirements. Produce and maintain a Project Crypto Plan (PCP). The successful candidate will work collaboratively within an integrated Customer and Delivery Partner team environment, working closely with a wide range of functional staff, including engineering, product support, supplier management, commercial and finance.

Typical Education/Experience

Preferably educated to Degree Level or similar in a technical subject. Working knowledge of, and experience at implementing: Relevant MoD Joint Service Publications (JSPs), such as JSP440. JSP480, JSP541. HMG Information Assurance Standards. CESG Good Practice Guides. ISO27001 Must have experience of working in a multi-disciplined team, preferably within a government sector. Requires expertise and experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Visio.
