Role title: Information Risk Manager
Location: Northampton
Salary: £32,000 - £39,000
You will drive the improvements and on-going maintenance of the control programs for Barclaycard Europe Information Risk Management. You'll manage and deliver strategy and operation initiatives including measurement activities against set standards. Within this role you will be a subject matter expert and offer advice and guidance in all areas across the Information Risk Management. You will define, implement and support Barclaycard wide governance assurance for compliance in line with standards and policies. You will also identify and assess key risks and issues across Barclaycard organisations and establish measures and metrics needed to counteract these.
What you'll need
- Proven track record of developing Risk Management policies ideally within the Financial Services sector but not essential
- Good understanding of national and international compliance requirements relating to Information Risk Management (e.g. FSA Conduct of Business regulations; Data Protection Act)
- Good awareness of information risk and its constituent disciplines, including relevant national and international industry standards e.g. ISO27001, ISO27002, ISO27005 and COBIT is ideal
- Awareness of operational risk disciplines, key risk indicators relevant to information risk, data privacy and protection, records management and a business-focused approach to controls is preferred.
- Degree equivalence or above is preferred but not essential
