Posted Position Title: Information Security Governance Analyst Career Level: Experienced Function Information Technology Function Segment: Information Security Location: United States U.S. State, China or Canada Provinces: Louisiana City: New Orleans Postal Code: 70112-4527 Relocation Assistance No Role Summary/Purpose: The Information Security Governance Analyst works with GECCs Information Security teams and GE Capital Businesses supporting the Information Security Governance program. This role involves interfacing with senior GE Information Security, IT and Business leaders to ensure that initiatives align with the overall Security Program's mission, meet Business and regulatory requirements and meet GECC quality standards. Essential Responsibilities The Information Security Governance Analyst is responsible to lead the creation of Policies, Standards, Guidelines and other communications across GE Capital. The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities: - Work in collaborative creation efforts for creating and implementing Information Security Policies and Standards - Monitor Governance implementation efforts and conduct compliance gap assessments - Direct and improve the Governance program and associated governance activity including metrics, issue tracking and remediation and programs supporting GECC policies and standards - Manage the policies and standards exception process - Establish and maintain cross-business and cross-functional relationships with key leaders and stakeholders across GEs business, information security and IT functions - Ensure program goals and objectives are being met - Coordinate with GE Corporate to ensure consistency with GE Policies and Practices - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Problem escalation/Corrective Action analysis and recommendations - Strong written skills required for preparation of documentation, deliverables, proposals, and reports Qualifications/Requirements: Basic Qualifications: - Bachelors degree with minimum 3+ years of IT experience and leadership or equivalent work experience - Experience managing programs across a global, highly matrix organization - Demonstrated experience leading global programs across technology and business functions - Proven track record of implementing global strategies and programs - General knowledge of financial services regulatory environment including FFIEC and GLBA - Working knowledge of a broad range of current IT security platforms and technologies Eligibility Requirements - You must apply via COS (internals) or www.gecareers.com (externals) to be considered for this position - Unrestricted work authorization in the United States - You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act. - Must be willing to comply with pre-employment screening, including but not limited to drug testing, reference verification, and background check. - Must be willing to travel up to 20% of time Additional Eligibility Qualifications GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening.
