Description
- Has a primary function of accountability for all Information Security activities to secure the application development lifecycle and code delivery in support of the Global Consumer Group Businesses
- Will have oversight to ensure the creation of secure application code for Cards development functions that could span across geographic regions of the globe
- Manages a diverse team of Information Security Officers
- Will have a solid reporting line to the Global Consumer Sector Information Security Officer and a matrix reporting relationship to the Global Consumer Technology CIO
5+ years' experience with Enterprise-wide Information Security programs including, but not limited to, Information Security Risk Assessments, Awareness Training Programs, Third Party Information Security Assessments, Identity Access Management Provisioning Solutions, EntitlementAccess Control List Activities, Data Protection Functions, Incidentevent Management, Application Vulnerability Assessments, Audit Reviews, Business Risk Assessments or other technical Information Security management disciplines.
- Business or technical background and preferably a combination of both
- Strong interpersonal skills which will enable leadership of an international team of Information Security professionals on multiple continents
- Strong executive level presence, relationship management and organizational communication skills
- Able to interpret and apply policies, standards, practices and procedures
- Excellent negotiation skills
- A balance of strategic, tactical and analytical skills
- Leadership and managerial experience in a matrix environment
- Strong ethical leadership experience, professional management and team building skills
- Excellent Verbal and written communications skills
- Understanding of the threat and risk landscape globally and across the financial services industry
- Understanding of the Information Security risks inherent to a global financial services organization
- Strong risk analysis, problem solving and internal controls skills
- Project and Program management experience
- Advanced technical knowledge of Information Security systems, processes and Industry Standards
- Working knowledge of international business and regulatory requirements
- Understanding of Citi governance structure is a plus
