Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Evaluate the Company’s security systems for maintaining data reliability, integrity and security.
• Regularly exercise business discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance related to information security and compliance.
• Assist Corporate Governance as needed to audit, remediate and design controls for new compliance programs.
• Participate in performing IT-related Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), information security, and compliance audits in accordance with accepted professional standards.
• Analyze data to provide an objective, informed opinion on the current status of aspects of the information security program and to help determine appropriate next steps to address risks identified by the business.
• Participate in training business and technology personnel on the information security program and on compliance requirements.
• Discreetly help to gather information and put together reports on any incidents that are identified that may or may have impacted the business.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed (approximately 6-8 times per year).
• Perform other duties as directed by the Director of Process Engineering and Security.

Required Education and Experience

• Familiar with standard audit concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Ability to work with various groups to implement required policies efficiently and comfortably, gaining teams’ cooperation and assistance.
• Understanding of IT infrastructure, information security concepts and data flow in an online environment.
• Advanced analytical skills.
• Excellent time and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Familiar with ISO 27000 information security framework
• 5 years of related experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems or related field of study required; advanced degree desired.
• CISA or CISSP preferred.
• Experience in the online media or internet-related industry a plus.
