Vector Security is seeking candidates for the position of Help Desk Manager.  This position will be responsible for the management of the Help Desk effort.

 

The Primary Responsibilities of this position include:

 

·         Overall responsibility for all facets of the Help Desk function including service, metrics, and continuous improvement

·         Management of staff including all aspects of employment, training, development, performance management, and resource allocation

·         Serve as escalation point for resolving end user issues

·         Implementation of new policies and procedures to support and enhance the Help Desk function

·         Development and implementation of best practices that measure and ensure optimum team performance and customer satisfaction

·         Policy development and support of mobile devices, internet and email usage, USB storage and data retention

·         Monitor issues and report on common Help Desk performance metrics

·         Procurement of all hardware, software, peripherals and software licenses

·         Contribute to the creation of Training and eLearning content

·         Prepare and manage fiscal budget and computer deployment

 

The Requirements for this position include:

 

·         Bachelor’s degree in a technical and/or management discipline

·         Minimum 5-7 years management experience

·         Minimum 3-5 years of Information Technology experience

·         Demonstrated leadership and employee management skills

·         Strong customer service focus to work continuously with operational departments to understand business requirements and customer needs

·         Excellent communication, organizational, and problem solving/troubleshooting skills.
