This role will provide high level management of the IS function to ensure that the organisation remains at the forefront of technology and communication within their industry. This significantly differentiates them in the various markets in which they operate.

Managing a team of approximately 20 staff through a small number of direct reports, you will have responsibility for ensuring the provision of reliable and effective IS services and solutions. The function encompasses both applications and infrastructure, and covers a wide variety of technology. You will also be responsible for setting the medium and long term strategy.

This role will see you partnering with key business stakeholders, anticipating their needs and ensuring the seamless operation of this function.

To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced IS Manager who has worked in environments with real time transactional systems. You will have a strong track record in developing strategy, project management and will have experience in the preparation and presentation of business cases, and people management.
