Role Description: Client is seeking a Librarian/Information Specialist
This position is responsible for supporting all FES SharePoint site owners with developing and maintaining well-organized and user-friendly sites that will enable users to retrieve data easily. This position will be the primary support contact for ensuring user concerns are reviewed, and effective, simple solutions are developed and implemented quickly.
Key Roles Responsibilities
Other duties may be assigned. Directly or through others, the person in this position will
· Work with FES groups to understand their business models and goals to make their site content more usable and easily accessible for site users and owners.
· Monitor dates when SharePoint data was last modified/used and monitor the quality of the data (accuracy, completeness, and consistency in metadata) and work with site owners to cleanse data and maintain its integrity.
· Help FES SharePoint site owners to define strategy, content, and site features to make their SharePoint sites more functional, effective, and user friendly.
· Provide informal training for users to understand SharePoint solutions and processes as necessary.
· Ensure FES SharePoint sites maintain the look, feel, and standardization in accordance with IT Support direction.
· Collaborate with IT to ensure customers get the proper technical solutions for their teams and users.
· Develop an audit process to ensure users upload and maintain data in the correct document management systems (e.g., ProjectWise, SharePoint and Maximo).
· Work with IT to isolate and resolve database deficiencies and implement corrective actions.
· Assist IT with developing database architectures, optimize database design, and manage data integrity.
· Support the FES Maintenance group with organizing, designing, and redeveloping content for the Outage Playbook to ensure it is usable for the target audience and easy to update.
· Support with developing and implementing the fleet-wide program for controlling vendor manuals.
· Support the Configuration Control Specialist with developing processes for managing the physical and electronic Engineering Library.

Qualifications sought in successful candidates include the following:
· Bachelor’s degree or higher degree in Technical Communication, Library Science, or related field
· 1-3 years of professional experience in developing and designing database structures and processes to manage information
· Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft SharePoint
Preferred background and knowledge requirements:
· Strong knowledge of user interface design processes and methodology
· Experience with designing effective user experiences and background in developing technical information
· Knowledge of internet searching, online databases, and cataloging
· Exceptional interpersonal communication skills and able to work well with a team
· Strong, focused written communication
· Ability to organize information, manage tasks and projects to support business needs
· Thorough understanding of information technology systems and infrastructure
· Motivated to provide customer service to internal customers
· Ability to remain flexible with changing priorities
