The techniques used by the I.S. Clinic Coordinator for defining business/clinical problems, processes, data, requirements and acceptance tests will enable them to: oListen, organize and document the detailed requirements for new applications oAsk the right questions at the right times and in the right order to efficiently identify and expand requirements oObjectively test a set of requirements for completeness; look for customization needs, and identify opportunities for process improvements oScope and estimate the development effort required by business/clinical users and Information Services given a set of requirements oDocument these requirements in a format that can be understood by Information Services * Will be the focal point for all communications with the Clinic regarding the implementation of the application(s) or upgrades so that established implementation milestones and target completion dates can be meet. Additionally this position manages multiple simultaneous projects in complex clinic environments. The techniques used by the I.S. Clinic Coordinator will enable them to: oHave a thorough understanding of the customer's expectations through meetings with clinic stakeholders. oWithin the constraints of local clinic requirements and issues, ensure corporate implementation processes are met. Identify create and communicate process improvements. oBe the focal point of all communications with the customer and regularly communicate with the business owners and users throughout the implementation process. oEnsure that the Information Services resources are efficiently scheduled, executing against that schedule, and ensuring customer readiness. oSetup and conduct a pre-implementation planning meeting with the customer, ensuring that all roles and responsibilities are established and timelines are set. oFinalize and develop the project team, deliverables and task flow, and project schedule. oEnsure that the Clinic Administrators/users understand scope and timelines. oManage the project timeline; communicate deviations, resolve scope changes; confirm system activating date, and end-user training is scheduled and executed. oDefine and provide relevant performance feedback tools to clinic physicians and administrative leadership to help them measure adoption of the systems. oTransition customer from the pre-implementation to the post-implementation overseeing that the customer uses the full functionality of the application. * Must have business/clinical/organizational intelligence and operational or clinical experience using Aurora's practice/patient management applications in order to foster the credible relationship and expertise necessary to support the Clinic's business/clinical and information technology needs. The techniques used by the I.S. Clinic Coordinator will enable them to: oSynthesize information from diverse sources and draw conclusions oAddress change management issues with sensitivity to clinic uniqueness and needs oCreate and build relationships within Clinic Administration, staff and physicians and also within Information Services. oUnderstand the political climate, culture and nuances of individual clinics oPortray professionalism in every action and build strong customer relationships oFoster a positive climate which embraces new technology or processes oHave the depth and breath of experience and knowledge so as to be a leader throughout the pre and post implementation phases oHave a broad based knowledge of business information systems and processes oCommunicate and interface with subject matter experts from the clinic and information services and be able to interpret high level ideas into detailed components for both technical and non-technical staff. * This position is responsible for adhering to established Service Standards.
