Job ID: HITS03121050 Information Systems Security - Wichita, KS - HITS03121050 Description: Information Systems Security Job Code: HITS03121050 Job Description: * Responsible for supporting quality improvement in all Certification and Accreditation (CA) products and services and take a proactive approach in providing customer assistance. * Provide IT consultation and CA instruction to functional users and make recommendations to project leaders on system interrelationships that must be considered in producing the output desired. * Keep abreast of emerging INFOSEC technologies to predict future management information systems needs. * Provide and conduct requirements analysis and management requirements development measures (i.e. gap analysis, CA SOP, policy review, expert agency review analysis (NIST, NSA)). * Provide security evaluation and document development for the Authority to Operate (ATO) approval process. * Work closely with security engineering staff who perform Security Testing Evaluation (STE) and certification testing ensuring all valid system findings are either fixed, mitigated, or a remediation plan is in place. * Develop, review, and analyzes DIACAP required documents, including DIACAP transition plan, SIP, DIACAP Scorecard, and Plans of Action and Milestones (POAMs). * Assist in creating ANG-wide policy to manage the INFOSEC program and provide advice and guidance in its implementation and in procedures used in the development and operation of systems. * Devise management plans to administer fixes to identified problems of CA documentation. * Ensure computer software designs address information system security requirements. Qualifications: * Successful candidates will have a Bachelors degree and 2+ years relevant experience (or commensurate background and experience). * Must be Security+ certified. Preferred Additional Skills: * Previous experience supporting government and/or Department of Defense customers. This position requires the candidate to already possess an active Secret clearance and to maintain the clearance.
