NewToday.jpg Technical INFORMATION SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN Brynn Marr Hospital Responsible for administration, security, and maintenance of all facility communications systems, computers, security cameras, wiring, and other electronic equipment. Plan and install network hardware and software. Provide primary user support. Solve routine computer problems. Implement IT and HIPAA policies and standards, ensuring adherence to security procedures. Train users on systems operations and procedures. Qualified individuals will possess considerable knowledge of utilization, operation, and care of computer and related equipment. Must be able to support operation of computers, printers, and related equipment; read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures; and effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and staff. Will also assist the Plant Operations Department with various maintenance tasks as needed. Requirements: 3 years related work experience. 5 years experience managing and/or directing an IT operation preferred. A+ Certification and Desktop Support Technician by HDI preferred. Experience working in a healthcare setting preferred. Associate degree in the field of computer science or information systems required. Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience may be considered in lieu of education.
