No Security Clearance Required about security clearance definitions Position Description The Aerodynamics Engineering Performance group within the IT Engineering Systems Computer Aided Engineering organization is looking for talent to help develop and maintain state-of-the-art computerized applications. The applicant will be expected to assist in the design, implementation and testing of new and revised systems. The applicant will investigate problems related to hardware, software, and processes; and assist in the preparation of business cases for new technology. The applicant is required to be familiar with modern software development methodologies, including structured and object-oriented analysis and design, and Agile development. Knowledge of aerodynamics is a plus. Works under general supervision. Basic Qualifications For Consideration Do you meet the criteria described in the Typical Education / Experience section of this requisition? Have you had at least 2 years of Programming Language (such as Java/C/C++, Fortran etc...) academic or industry work experience? Typical Education/Experience Level 1 - Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. Level 2 - Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 2 or more years experience or a Master's degree with experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. Other Job related information Masters or Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Any engineering discipline with software development experience.
