About the Job
- Provide clerical support including filing, typing letters, production of powerpoint presntations and processing invoices and orders.
- Operation of computerised booking system which includes the operation of the automated information and reservation system (TIDINET), taking deposits and explanation of cancellation policy.
- Respond and deal with all telephone/email and written enquiries.
- Recording of all complaints and passing same to relevant department/officer to deal with.
- Cash handling duties and associated paperwork.
- Maintain/retrieval from record keeping systems using databases, spreadsheets manual filing systems, ensuring documentation dealt with is appropriately referenced and filed correctly.
- Open and close the offices daily.
- Assist other agencies and departments in administration associated with events; and attend promotional events throughout Ireland, UK and USA if required.
- Assist with the operation of events, including the sourcing and maintenance of delegate lists, compliance of material for events, issue of invitations, management of responses, and provision of assistance at the events.
- Assist with instruction of any work placement students.
- Undertake general housekeeping such as dusting, tidying, restocking shelves etc
- Any other duties as directed concerned with the nature of the post including organising and servicing of meetings.
